SEASONAL PART-TIME STAFF MEMBER

  • Must be friendly and outgoing with customers

We are looking for a reliable go-getter to join our team as a part time staff member for night and weekend shifts. Staff members are responsible for making sure customers are taken care of in a timely fashion and keeping the public areas of the facility tidy and orderly. Job duties include checking in skaters for public skating, working the concessions stand, handing out and putting away rental skates, assisting with birthday parties and keeping the public areas of the facility tidy. Because the job is based in customer service, the ideal applicant will have a positive and enthusiastic attitude and enjoy working with people.

SEASONAL PART-TIME ZAMBONI DRIVER

  • Mechanically inclined
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Able to work independently while following instructions

We are looking for a qualified individual to join our team as a Zamboni driver to work night and weekend shifts. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined. The Zamboni driver will be responsible for cleaning the ice between scheduled events in the allotted time to ensure events stay on schedule. Applicant must have full range of motion at all times, be able to lift up to 40 pounds and be able to maintain balance while walking in wet, slushy and icy areas. The Zamboni driver must be able to work independently while following instructions from ice maintenance staff and rink protocol. Zamboni drivers are expected to assist the staff at the front with customer service and facility upkeep when not resurfacing the ice. Previous ice resurfacer experience is beneficial, but not required. Anyone hired will be trained.

SEASONAL PART-TIME SHIFT MANAGER IN TRAINING

  • Must be effective at delegating tasks
  • Able to think on one’s feet

We are looking for a reliable go-getter to join our team as a part-time shift manager for night and weekend shifts. The manager is responsible for overseeing the crew on the shift, making sure customers are taken care of in a timely fashion and keeping the public areas of the facility tidy and orderly. The ideal candidate will be comfortable taking charge of situations, will be able to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively under pressure. Previous management experience is preferred, but not required. Mechanically inclined applicants are a plus and will be considered for training on the Zamboni. The right applicant will have an enthusiastic personality and be comfortable with being outgoing when working with customers.

Must be able to work late evenings (until midnight in the winter), have a full range of motion and be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
